Every Grillion is manufactured by hand, using traditional methods and top grade timber. We make the Grillions at our Derbyshire Factory complex. Manufactured in the UK
We manufacture in the UK because it is the only way we have found to get good quality control over the product that we send out. In the last 20 years we have dealt with companies from all over Europe and we find that working to someone else's timings (and being let down) means we are letting our customers down and this is not something we are prepared to live with. We started our factories around 20 years ago, we make literally thousands of buildings per year and we would love to show you around if you would like to come to the factories.
We also think that British Manufacturing is something to be proud of and intend to continue making quality garden rooms and timber structures for as long as there is a demand.

Guarantees
All Arctic Cabins buildings and structures come with our ten year manufacturer’s warranty. This warranty guarantees replacement of any component parts should they be found to be defective within this period, however it does not cover accidental damage or weather damage once building is constructed. Customers should also note that timber is a natural product and prone to changes in appearance, including some movement and the occurrence of small knot holes or splits in extreme temperatures and weather conditions. Splits, knots or similar visual imperfections in the timber not affecting the structural integrity of the building will not be accepted as a valid reasons for a claim against our warranty.

BBQ Grill - our grills and flues are manufactured for us by Polar Metalli - Finland’s leading manufacturer of barbeque grills - and are guaranteed against defects for a period of 12 months.
Any timber bases we fit are supported on ‘TANALISED' timber which has been impregnated with a preservative solution under high pressure in an industrial vessel. This treatment process ensures deep penetration into the timber cells, for a longer-lasting protective result against fungal decay and insect attack than the application of a surface coating. Pressure-treated timber is leach resistant, ensuring a long and trouble-free service life in a wide range of conditions, and assured performance in sensitive environments such as vegetable plots and areas of wildlife. Desired service lives range from 60 years for internal timbers and 30 years for external timbers such as fence posts in ground contact.
Quality Standards
To build our structures we make use of only the best raw materials and building components, and fully qualified local contractors.
- Timber: Forest Stewardship Council Approved timber suppliers.
- Roofing: For sloping roofs we use Kerbit SBS roofing shingles.
- Doors & Windows: Double glazed, energy efficient uPVC doors and windows for peak energy efficiency.
- Finishing: FSC approved MDF interior boards with Neatmatch damp resistant coating.
All of the timber we use in our buildings is sourced from FSC or PEFC certified suppliers. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a global organisation with the aim of ensuring the chain of custody of all timber products and that the sourcing forests are properly managed to ensure sustainability. This means that more trees are planted than those that are used. It also ensures fairness for the indigenous populations where these forests are located.
Design
Our design team are on hand to turn your vision into a reality. Your ideas and sketches are transformed into a CAD Drawing which is then perfected until you are 100% happy. The design is then sent to our factory where the cabin is created.
Delivery & Fitting
Arctic Cabins provide a full delivery and installation service at your convienience and all our cabins and Grillions are supplied untreated. This gives you complete freedom and choice to paint and stain your new Grillion to fit perfectly in your garden. Pay Monthly
We believe that everyone deserves to own their dream garden room.That’s why we have partnered with Hitachi Capital, one of the worlds largest consumer credit providers, to bring our customers some fantastic and competitive finance options. We only require a 20% deposit when choosing one of our finance options. You can then decide between paying a set monthly installment or deferring the outstanding balance amount for up to 1 year. With Hitachi you are protected under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and have certain rights in the unlikely event that a problem should occur and you’re not satisfied.
